Pathway-To-Plant is run by me, Maggie Herskovits.

I have been gardening professionally for over 10 years. The path that led to this work was found during a search for a sense of place ~ meaning in life through my surroundings.

Since receiving a Certificate of Horticulture from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, I have worked in many aspects of the horticultural field: NYC park gardener and garden designer/ installer / maintainer for private residences; as well as educator and horticulture therapist. I continue this work as a guide for others looking to develop a deeper connection to where they live.

The choices I make while gardening benefit as many layers of the ecosystem as possible. I strive to maintain the level of energy through recycling resources and optimizing functions of every component of the garden.
